I've worked in conservation and ecological restoration for over 30 years, currently for the NGO Trees for Life in the Scottish Highlands. Connection with nature is important, from gardening to being out and about in wild places. I guess that woodlands and forests are my 'go to' places, especially if crowned by dramatic landscapes.
